DOHA: The Organising Committee of the 48th FIG Artistic Gymnastics World Championships Doha 2018 today will hold a special ceremony which will be attended by all the participating delegations at the Torch Ballroom at Aspire.
The ceremony which will start at 6:30pm is intended to welcome all delegations and guests.
The Organising Committee invited all delegations that arrived in Doha as well as the members of the International Federation and the Continental Federations.
A short film about Qatar between the past and present and the development of gymnastics will be on display during the ceremony.
Ali Al Hitmi, President of the Qatar Gymnastics Federation will address the members of delegation and guests. FIG President will also speak during the event.
Meanwhile, the medals for the prestigious competition will also be unveiled today.
