Cairo: The headquarters of the General Secretariat of the Arab League hosted yesterday the 35th session of the Arab Commission for the Unified Customs Tariff, with the participation of representatives from Arab customs authorities.
Qatar participated in the meeting with a delegation headed by Ahmed Abdullah Al Kuwari from the General Authority of Customs.
The five-day meeting will discuss a number of issues, including modernization of common customs tariff table according to the 2017 coordinated system, in addition to discussing a proposal to update this table based on the recommendations of a previous committee meeting.
The meeting will review notes by a number of Arab countries on the Arab unified tariff table.
