DOHA: The German Business Council Qatar (GBCQ) organized a meeting at the InterContinental Doha The City in the presence of the German Ambassador Hans-Udo Muzel (pictured), Peter Zieglear, Deputy Head of Mission at the German Embassy; UrsSchnider Deputy Head of Mission at the Embassy of Switzerland to Qatar and Bahrain and GBCQ Chairman Henning Zimmermann, The event was also attended by Vera Gebhardt at the German Embassy, Adel Al Mannai along with 55 participants from local, German and international firms companies in Qatar.
This month’s event featured an introduction to Qatar Financial Centre (QFC) presentation that was delivered by the main speaker, Kamal Naji, the Chief Strategy and Business Development Officer at the QFC.
‘Why Qatar’, a brief about QFC and procedures of setting up were the main 3 topics that were presented, followed by a Q&A session, in addition to overviews a brief introduction to GBCQ’s newly joined membersto Gate to Wellness by Reem Al Daghma and SAP Software & Services by Fokion-Taki Angelopoulos; who have both recently became GBCQ members.
The event concluded by a networking dinner where the attendees were able to meet the speakers and exchange their views about the different topics and network.
