Shaikh Salman bin Ibrahim Al Khalifa, President of the Asian Football Confederation (AFC) and Vice-President of FIFA, congratulated Al Duhail on winning their seventh QNB Stars League title.
Shaikh said in a message to Sheikh Hamad bin Khalifa Al Thani, the President of the Qatar Football Federation: “The achievement of Al Duhail translates the efforts of the club’s family (administration, technical equipment and players) throughout the Qatari football season and this achievement also embodies the spirit of sincerity and dedication that distunguished the team’s performance leading to the big title .
“Al Duhail winning the title enhance the special place of the club in the Qatari soccer arena , and reflects its leadership in the strong competition and writing history through successive successes," the AFC President added.
