Doha, Qatar: The British Chamber of Commerce Qatar (BCCQ) welcomed almost 100 members and guests to B-Lounge, The Ritz-Carlton Doha, for its annual Summer Sundowners, reaffirming the Chamber’s commitment to strengthening business relationships and supporting collaboration across the UK-Qatar business community.
Bringing together senior business leaders, entrepreneurs, professionals and guests from a broad range of industries, the evening provided an opportunity to exchange ideas, build new relationships and strengthen existing connections in an informal networking environment.
The event also welcomed colleagues from the Department for Business and Trade (DBT) at the British Embassy Doha, reflecting the continued close collaboration between BCCQ, the British Embassy and the wider UK Government in supporting trade, investment and commercial partnerships between the United Kingdom and Qatar.
Vice-Chair at the British Chamber of Commerce Qatar, Rupert Bastick said, “Summer Sundowners has become one of our most popular networking events because it reflects exactly what BCCQ is here to do — bring people together. Whilst the evening provides a relaxed setting, the conversations taking place are meaningful, with new business relationships being formed, existing partnerships strengthened and future collaborations beginning. It was fantastic to welcome so many new faces alongside our longstanding members, highlighting the continued growth of our Chamber and the value businesses place on being part of a trusted network.”
Throughout the evening, members and guests from across Qatar’s business community demonstrated the importance of face-to-face networking at a time when strong professional relationships continue to play a vital role in supporting business growth across the region.
The British Chamber of Commerce Qatar continues to work closely with strategic partners, sponsors, government organisations and the British Embassy Doha to provide a programme of networking opportunities, business briefings, leadership events and sector-focused discussions that support companies operating in both the UK and Qatar.
