Doha: Al Rayyan Municipality destroyed a total of 1,440 kg of vegetables that were unfit for human consumption.
In a statement on Twitter, the Ministry of Municipality mentioned that action was taken after the inspection of a vehicle, which was carrying rotten vegetables.
The Ministry also stated that this was part of its inspection campaigns carried out to maintain food safety and consumer health in Qatar.
