Doha: Chief of Staff of Qatar Armed Forces H E Staff Lieutenant General (Pilot) Salem bin Hamad bin Aqeel Al Nabit met with Chief of Staff of the Armed Forces of the Arab Republic of Egypt H E Lieutenant General Osama Askar.
The Chief of Staff of the Egyptian Armed Forces was accorded an official reception ceremony.
The meeting reviewed aspects of military cooperation between the two sides and ways of enhancing and developing them.
The Chief of Staff then accompanied the Egyptian Chief of Staff to Al Zaeem Mohammed Bin Abdullah Al Attiya Air Academy where he was welcomed by Commander of the Academy, Brigadier-General (Pilot) Salem Abdullah Al Dosari.
Lieutenant General Osama Askar also visited the National Service Academy where he was welcomed by President of the Academy H E Staff Major General Saeed Hamad Al Nuaimi.
The meeting, the reception ceremony and the visits were attended by high-ranking leaders and officers of the Qatari and Egyptian armed forces.
Meanwhile, Chief of Staff of Qatar Armed Forces H E Staff Lieutenant General (Pilot) Salem bin Hamad bin Aqeel Al Nabit met with Chief of the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Mongolia H E Major General Dovchinsurengiin Ganzorig, on the sidelines of Doha International Maritime Defense Exhibition and Conference (DIMDEX 2022).
