Qatar’s Special Olympics World Summer Games delegation members pose for a photograph upon their arrival at the Hamad International Airport yesterday. Team Qatar won 13 medals at the Games in Abu Dhabi, including four gold medals, four silver and five bronze. Saoud Al Sulaiti (badminton), Salma Al Hammad (100m sprint), Hamad Mubarak (powerlifting) and Shua Al Abdullah (roller-skating) won the gold medals while the silver medals were won by Mohammed Ali Al Abd (shot put), Naif Al Jassim (badminton), Hamad Mubarak (powerlifting), and Bakhita Azab (softball throw). Khalifa Al Dosari (roller skating), Hadam Al Jaber (two bronze medals in powerlifting), and Mubarak Al Hebabi (two bronze medals in roller skating) were the rest of the medal winners for Qatar.
