DOHA: The inaugural edition of ‘Build Your House 2020’ exhibition will kick-off on March 2 at Qatar National Convention Center (QNCC).
This was announced yesterday at a press conference which was attended by NeXTFairs officials, and representatives from ministries and sponsors.
Supported by the Ministry of Commerce and Trade, Ministry of Municipality & Environment, Ministry of Administrative Development Labor & Social Affairs, Ashghal and Civil Defence, the expo partners and sponsors include Kahramaa as Strategic Partner, Tadmur Trading as the Founding Partner, Interior Treasure as official sponsor, SEIB insurance as the Insurance Partner and The Architects Hub as the Knowledge Partner. Living Spirit and Falcon Kitchen Equipment Company are the Gold Sponsors while the Silver sponsors include Skyline Engineering Consultants, New Vision Contracting, Al Jaber AC & Lift Systems and Oryx Marble and Granite.
Founded in Qatar and specially designed for the local market, the exhibition is focussed on assisting Qatari nationals understand the processes and procedures involved in building a personal residence. The 3-day event, organised by NeXTFairs, is a collaborative platform that provides informative advice and connects visitors to the contractors and consultants that enable them to build houses that suit their needs and tastes. The exhibition will feature exhibitors who will introduce visitors to the latest technologies and materials used in building, architecture, and interior designs.

The exhibition will also feature a wide range of free workshops and seminars which will offer information on everything from laws and building processes to designs and latest trends. The workshops are divided into popular themes inspired from what’s happening in the house building industry around the world, making it relevant and interesting. More than 30 experts from both the private and public sector will conduct workshops and seminars on relevant themes. These workshops aim to provide Qatari Nationals with the latest information about modern technologies and building materials used in interior design, architecture and construction. Build Your House 2020 Exhibition, will be held on March 2-4 and is open to the public daily from 10 AM to 8 PM.
