The Breeding and Show Department of Al Shaqab, member of Qatar Foundation, will be participating in the US National Arabian & Half-Arabian Championship Horse show in Tulsa, United States, which concludes on October 26.
Considered the most prestigious Arabian horse show in North America., it is a nine-day event featuring nearly 1,800 horses, competing in different disciplines. Three days are devoted for the Arabian horse championship.
Al Shaqab will present four magnificent Arabians at the prestigious show. Among the participants is Hariry Al Shaqab, a progeny of the legendary Marwan Al Shaqab, out of White Silk.
The 2010 stallion will compete in the Riding Class on October 25, proudly displaying the native costume. Kashef Al Shaqab, a 2017 bay colt, also sired by Marwan Al Shaqab, out of Psyrella, will be on show on October 23. Zayne Al Shaqab, a 2017 filly, will be in the showring on October 25. Moaid Al Shaqab, a 2015 stallion, is also among the contenders.
The majestic Arabians of Al Shaqab have been enjoying success at various international shows held across Europe and the US this year. Despite a busy show season, they have continued to win awards and notable positions at the shows in which they’ve participated. True to his lineage, Hariry Al Shaqab holds several titles, including: World Champion Stallion - World Arabian Championships, France in 2015. He was crowned US National Champion, twice; Scottsdale Champion, twice; and Las Vegas Champion and Qatar National Champion.
