Hanoi: Vietnamese Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh has called on all citizens to actively participate in the nation's startup strategy, local media outlet Voice of Vietnam reported on Tuesday.
Speaking at a government meeting, the prime minister also highlighted innovation and digital transformation as crucial drivers of sustainable and inclusive growth, according to the state-owned media.
Chinh urged ministries and localities to accelerate the drafting of a comprehensive national startup development plan to foster entrepreneurship and boost economic growth.
According to data from the National Statistics Office, in the first six months of 2025, the number of newly registered enterprises in Vietnam reached 91,200, up 11.8 percent compared to the same period last year.
