DOHA: Aspire Academy has concluded its third Parents’ Meeting for the Academic Year 2017-2018 to provide parents with insights on the level of progress made by student-athletes throughout the third school term.

Parents were welcomed by Badr Jassim Al Hay, Director of Education and Student Care, and Jassim Al Jaber, School Principal, in addition to other faculty members, teachers and coaches.

During the meeting, parents engaged with faculty members and department representatives in lively discussions and talked about the current academic and athletic levels of the students and how to improve their performance.

Speaking about the occasion, Jassim Al Jaber, School Principal, said: “Aspire Academy regularly organises such meetings between the faculty and parents to network and listen to mutual feedback. This is important as it helps to improve both the academic and athletic performance of the student-athletes.”

Al Jaber also revealed that the majority of student-athletes in their final year has scored high marks at IELTS and submitted their applications to several universities. Some of them have already received acceptance letters from both local and international universities.

Aspire Academy promotes a responsive educational environment and intercultural experiences to develop the student-athletes’ academic potential. Through personalised learning and 21st century technology, the Academy develops responsible learners and inspire every student-athlete to make valued contributions to our global community.
