Qatari rider Rashid Towaim Al Marri guides Navaronne over a fence during the Big Tour event on the final day of the eighth round of the Longines Hathab Qatar Equestrian Tour/CSN Al Rayyan.

At the Qatar Equestrian Federation's outdoor arena yesterday, Al Marri clinched a double when he topped the respective fields in both Big Tour and Open Class events. He won the Open Class astride Mira V/D Roshoeve ahead of second-placed Sheikh Khalifa Al Thani and Serendipity.

What A Pleasure, with Nasser Al Ghazali in the saddle, was the third fastest. Al Marri then clinched the biggest prize of the day when he guided Navaronne in a flawless routine to win Round 8 of the Big Tour.

Hamad Nasser Al Qadi and Nebrasco came second while Faleh Suwead Al Ajami, who was in action with Ulano, booked the remaining spot on the podium.
