Doha: The Ministry of Interior (MoI) officials have arrested boys from the viral video that showed them spraying foam on a family while walking in a public place.
Referring to the video clip circulating on social media, which shows a number of young people spraying a substance on a family while they were walking on the side of the road, the competent authorities were able to arrest the accused said the MOI in an Arabic statement.
The officials stated that the names of the accused are not revealed in view of their ages as they range between 12 and 15 years.
The accused were referred to the competent authority to complete procedures followed in such cases.

The Ministry of Interior assured the public that its relevant agencies will not hesitate to take the necessary measures to maintain order and societal security, especially with regard to cases of assault, inconvenience or harassment.
It further warned that the authorities will also publish names and pictures of the aggressors in the future to prevent the recurrence of such acts.
