Port Said: As part of ongoing efforts to deliver urgent relief aid to the brotherly Palestinian people in the Gaza Strip, a ship carrying a new humanitarian shipment has arrived at Port Said in the Arab Republic of Egypt.
The shipment is part of the maritime bridge operated by the State of Qatar in support of the Palestinian people, responding to emergency needs and alleviating the suffering of affected families.
In a statement issued Wednesday, the Qatar Fund for Development (QFFD) announced that the shipment includes 29,200 shelter tents provided by the QFFD, Qatar Charity, and the Qatar Red Crescent Society (QRCS).
The tents are set to be transported to the Gaza Strip via Egyptian territory to provide safe and dignified shelter for tens of thousands of families who lost their homes due to the aggression.
This aid reflects the State of Qatar's unwavering commitment to supporting the Palestinian people and affirms the continuation of its humanitarian and relief efforts, in line with its steadfast Arab and humanitarian solidarity and its firm stance on the Palestinian cause.
