DOHA: Gulf Drilling International Limited (GDI), a subsidiary of Gulf International Services (GIS), Qatar’s largest publicly listed energy services company, was chosen as a global winner of the prestigious awards in the category “Operational Excellence” by DuPont Safety and Sustainability.
This award was in recognition of GDI’s remarkable achievements of 2014 and specifically for the project “Maximising efficiency and safety in new rigs”.
One of the major achievements that stood out was the management’s role in establishing and maintaining a client centric and safety prioritised culture at GDI.
Mubarak Al Hajri, CEO of GDI received the award from Andrew Sharman Vice Chairman of the Board of the Institute of Occupational Safety and Health (IOSH).
