White truffles make a mark at Four Seasons

October marks the start of the white truffle season.  Known as “the diamond of the kitchen,” these rare and precious mushrooms signify luxury and opulence in the culinary world.
In celebration of white truffle season, Four Seasons Hotel Doha is holding the “Diamond of the Kitchen” gala, showcasing this rare and opulent ingredient.  
Inspired by his Italian heritage, Executive Chef Giancarlo Di Francesco, has created an exquisite menu to highlight the Hotel’s premium selection of truffle dishes paired with special beverages.  
Highlights include Homemade Tagliolini Pasta Sauteed in Mountain Butter; Carnaroli Risotto finished with Prosecco wine from Valdobbiadene; and Slow Cooked Veal Tenderloin, Rigatoni in a Morel Cream Sauce. 
“This very fine ingredient is so delicate and rare. We are delighted to hold a gala dinner every year in the name of the “Diamond of the Kitchen,” note Chef Giancarlo.  “Guests are able to experience this mouthwatering special ingredient.” 
The gourmet culinary event is scheduled nightly till October 30 or until the truffles run out.
