Board Member of Qatar International Center for Conciliation and Arbitration (QICCA), Sheikh Dr Thani bin Ali Al Thani, was honoured with the title of “international ambassador for social responsibility.”
The announcement was made during the 4th edition of Social Responsibility at Islamic Banks Conference recently held in Kuwait under the theme “banking leadership and its role in boosting practice of social responsibility.”
A large number of economic exports and bankers from Arab countries attended the event.
Many economic dignitaries from Arab countries were also honoured during the conference.
Al-Ahmadi Governor Sheikh Fawaz Al-Khaled Al-Sabah was also granted the title, “international ambassador for social responsibility.”
The conference was co-organised by the Arab Planning Institute, Regional Social Responsibility Network.
The conference aims at reviewing the best Islamic and international practices and experiments in the field of Islamic banking and its role in enhancing social responsibility.
