President of the Qatar Volleyball Association (QVA) Ali Ghanem Al Kuwari with Qatari beach volleyball star Cherif Younousse during a felicitation ceremony held in Doha yesterday.
Cherif and his partner Ahmed Tijan were felicitated by QVA after the pair, ranked seventh in the world, qualified for the Tokyo Olympics following impressive performances at the Cancun Hub Beach Volleyball tournaments earlier this month.
