Doha: Minister of Finance H E Ali Shareef Al Emadi participated in the 111th Meeting of the GCC Financial and Economic Cooperation Committee, which was held online earlier yesterday.
The meeting discussed measures taken by GCC governments to ensure the provision of financial requirements needed to limit the spread of COVID-19. The Committee also agreed on measures to enhance confidence in the respective economies and achieve financial sustainability, as well as on recommendations submitted by the GCC Committee of Governors of Monetary Institutions and Central Banks, the GCC Common Market Committee, the GCC Customs Union Committee and the IMF.
