Doha, Qatar: The Ministry of Interior announced that it has found the seventh missing person, following the completion of the search and rescue operations after a helicopter crash in the state’s territorial waters.
It added that accordingly, all seven individuals who were on board have been found, and their martyrdom has been confirmed.

Meanwhile, the Ministry of Defense also confirmed that, upon conclusion of search and rescue operations for the crew and personnel of the helicopter assigned for transport, which crashed early Sunday morning in the country’s territorial waters, Captain (Pilot) Saeed Nasser Smeikh, a member of Qatar Armed Forces, has been martyred.
Both the Ministries extended their deepest condolences and sincere sympathies to the families of the martyrs.
