Doha: Ambassador of Ecuador to Qatar H E Pascual Del Cioppo held a meeting with General Manager of Cultural Village Foundation — Katara, Prof. Khalid bin Ibrahim Al Sulaiti, in the presence of Maryam Al Saad, Director of International Relations and Marketing.
The meeting discussed the importance of reaching a future cultural exchange agreement between Ecuador and Qatar, as well as the possibility of organising the 1st Exhibition of Ecuadorian Painters in Doha, planned for this year.
Among the Ecuadorian artists who will exhibit their works, the painter from Ibarra Franz Del Castillo stands out. His work is recognised for portraying celebrities worldwide. He is also the holder of Guinness World Records in 2017, for drawing the largest number of caricatures (163) drawn from live models in one hour.
