Doha: The Qatar Rugby, Hockey and Cricket Association (QRHCA) held the Ordinary General Assembly at the headquarters of the Qatar Olympic Committee (QOC). The meeting was attended by President of the Association Yousef Jaham Al Kuwari, Secretary Abdullah Aman Al Khater, and Saleh Al Yazidi, the representative of the QOC, as well as members of the Board of Directors Issa Al Ghanim, Mohammed Al Othmani and Ali Al Maliki.
It discussed the future of the three sports and how to develop and promote them and broaden the base for participation in them.
President Al Kuwari said the meeting discussed the development of the three sports, especially with regard to the provision of cricket and rugby stadiums for practice during the coming period, through developing visions and plans for the next phase, especially since the previous period in which the committee relied on open spaces for the practice of the activity.
