Doha: The Qatar Volleyball Association (QVA) has organised a special event for Afghan refugees in Doha.
QVA President Ali bin Ghanem Al Kuwari told Qatar News Agency (QNA), said: "We seek to extend the scope of our expansion programs in spreading the game to include the Afghan refugees facilities and housing units which will help to leave tangible psychological impact on the participants and their families.”
Al Kuwari indicated that the event also aimed to improve the health and safety of youth and children in Qatar through volleyball and support the social development pillar of Qatar National Vision 2030, which is in line with the goal of organizing this event.
