Doha, Qatar: Al Rayyan Club yesterday received the Shield of General Excellence for basketball season 2022-23 at the hands of Qatar Basketball Federation (QBF) President Mohamed Saad Al Mughaiseeb, and QBF Secretary-General Saadoun Sabah Al Kuwari.
Al Rayyan Club Vice-President, Ali Salem Afifa and Yassin Ismail, Head of Football Basketball at Al Rayyan Club, received the shield.
Al Rayyan scored a total of 249 points in the men’s, youth and junior competitions, the Qatari Federation Cup for juniors, cubs competitions and buds festivals.
Al Sadd Club were second with 224 points while Al Ahli were third with 203 points.
