Doha: Ex-Inter Milan and Flamengo star Julio Cesar will bring out the Club World Cup before today’s final, organisers announced yesterday.
Cesar, the Brazilian goalkeeping legend and Club World Cup winner in 2010, told FIFA.com that he is excited to be reunited with the trophy.
“I’m really happy and excited, as I only just found out! FIFA told me I was getting this opportunity because I can touch the trophy, having won this tournament in 2010 with Inter Milan. It’s an honour and a big pleasure for me to be walking out to the pitch with the trophy. Thanks to FIFA for the opportunity,” Cesar said.
