Doha: The exhibition “Colored Threads of Time” by Austrian artist Amrei C. Jarosch continues at Katara until October 30.
In celebration of fifty years of diplomatic relations between Austria and Qatar, the art exhibition is ongoing at Building 47 in Katara Cultural Village. The exhibition is held in cooperation between Katara and the Embassy of the Republic of Austria in Doha and will continue until October 30.
This exhibition marks the second cultural event organised by the Austrian Embassy in collaboration with Qatari partners within a single month, highlighting the growing cultural ties between the two friendly countries.
Austrian artist Amrei C. Jarosch was born in Vienna into a family with diverse artistic backgrounds. She studied at the University of Applied Arts and the Higher Institute of Graphic Art.
Her artistic career spans over four decades, including fifteen years in Qatar, where she became an integral part of the local art scene. Her works have been exhibited in prestigious institutions in both Austria and Qatar, including the Fire Station – Artists in Residence.
