With public places and gatherings slowly reopening, we have put together a list of events that you can check out on cyberspace or visit in person in and around Doha during the weekend.

Don't forget to mask up where necessary and carry your green Ehteraz.

DFI Screening

DFI Cinema screens contemporary independent cinema, filmmaker retrospectives, classic films and a regular presentation of works by Qatari and Gulf filmmakers in partnership with various organizations.

 Urban Gardeners Meetup

Organized by Qatar National Library for all urban gardeners in Qatar to share their experiences with growing fruits, vegetables, ornamental plants and their connection with nature.

The event can only be attended by participants who are fully vaccinated against Covid-19.

Make Your Own Camera

In this workshop you'll get a chance to learn about the history of photography and how to transform a soft drink can into a camera that takes vintage photos that reflect the spirit of photography in the 18th century. This workshop is one of the events accompanying the exhibition "Between Science and Art: Early Photography in the Middle East," which is ongoing until 30 December 2021

Bringing Islamic Science to life

MIA collaborating with ibTECHar, is bringing Golden Age science into the future, where you learn about scientific developments and create your own using electronics, robotics and more.

Traditional Storytelling - Online

In celebration of the Year of Culture Qatar USA, there will be online storytelling of different kinds, from Bedouin to Native America to show different cultures and share own experience.

Beautiful Memories of Palestine

A pictorial journey that features books from MIA’s Rare Book Collection which are largely published in European languages as travel journals, stories and histories.

American muscle cars Exhibition

As part of the Qatar-USA 2021 Year of Culture, American Muscle Cars is on display at NMOQ. An exhibition charting the increase in the supply of American automobiles to Qatar during the 1960s and 1970s.

Women of the pandemic - Virtual Exhibition

Qatar America Institute for Culture (QAIC) launched in partnership with the Katara Cultural Village in Qatar, a virtual exhibition that features four American female artists and four Qatari female artists whose works reflect their resilience and artistic ambitions during pandemic.

Local Dates Exhibition

Third Local Dates Exhibition with participation of 55 local farms and national companies, aims to promote the national product of dates and introduce its different types.
