DOHA: Qatar Executive (QE), the corporate jet division of Qatar Airways Group, said yesterday that it will add another new ultra-long haul Bombardier Global 5000 Vision to its fleet in July to cater to increased demand for private jet travel during summer.
The announcement a day prior to the opening of Europe’s leading business aviation show EBACE in Geneva, where Qatar Executive is exhibiting with a dedicated stand (Booth No. 415), follows the operator’s recent acquisition of a brand new Bombardier Global Vision at the end of 2013.
The new delivery will bring up QE’s fleet size to eight wholly-owned aircraft, comprising four Global 5000s, including two Global 5000 Visions, three Challenger 605s and one Global XRS.
Built to please the most discerning customers, QE’s new Bombardier Global 5000 Vision with its ultra-long range, superior cabin comfort and cutting-edge technology is proving popular.
With a flying speed of up to 950kmph, and range of up to 9,260km, the aircraft is capable of flying virtually anywhere in the world to many intercontinental destinations non-stop from Doha and other points in the Middle East without having to stop for refuelling, ensuring a hassle-free and time-saving experience.
The Bombardier Global 5000 Vision features a spacious two-cabin configuration with a separate galley, and can accommodate up to 13 passengers, with seats that convert into fully flat beds with a well-appointed aft stateroom for optimal relaxation and privacy.
While the forward cabin allows sufficient space for up to eight passengers, with a four-place conference table, the rear cabin has two single seats, a private aft lavatory and a three-person divan which can be transformed to a double bed.
