Qatar Islamic Bank (QIB) was recently awarded the “Best Retail Mobile Banking Experience” in Qatar by The Asset Magazine, a leading financial publication in the Asia Pacific. These Triple A digital awards recognize financial institutions and technology firms that have excelled in innovating and developing unique digital experience for customers across the Asia-Pacific and Middle East regions, including Qatar.
During the fiscal year 2018, QIB introduced several digital products and services with a particular focus to upgrade its Mobile App. Enhancing its customers’ digital banking experience, the bank was the first in Qatar and the first Islamic Bank in the world to launch “Instant Finance” an innovative, high-secure end to end digital solution. Pre-approved QIB customers are eligible to digital apply for a finance which is credited into their accounts within a few minutes, without the need to visit a branch or sign any physical documents.
