Skills sessions were followed by questions to the ambassadors and the placing of hand prints on a heart canvas
Volunteers at the FIFA Arab Cup 2021 received a special treat on the eve of the final as a stellar line-up of FIFA World Cup Qatar 2022 ambassadors joined them for some fun and football at the Al Ersal Training Site in Doha.

Global football icons David Beckham, Yaya Toure, Nadia Nadim and Mehdi Mahdavikia were accompanied by fellow ambassadors Wessam Quotob, a Palestinian Instagram star, and Ghanim Al Muftah, one of Qatar’s most beloved – and inspirational – sons.

Despite being born with Caudal Regression Syndrome, an extremely rare disorder that impairs the development of the lower spine, Al Muftah has become a successful entrepreneur and a passionate participant in a variety of sports, from swimming through scuba diving and mountain climbing to, of course, football.
The event was arranged to thank pioneers and volunteers for their contribution to the FIFA Arab Cup, as ambassadors took part in skills sessions and a Q&A before all present added their hand prints to a volunteer logo heart canvas.
