Doha: The Deputy Amir HH Sheikh Abdullah bin Hamad Al-Thani led the well-wishers to welcome the President of Algeria Abdelmadjid Tebboune and his accompanying delegation upon his arrival on Saturday evening in Doha to attend the opening ceremony of the FIFA World Cup Qatar 2022, which takes place on Sunday at Al Bayt Stadium.
The president and the accompanying delegation were also welcomed upon arrival by the Minister of State H E Sheikh Fahad bin Faisal Al-Thani, the Ambassador of Qatar to Algeria H E Abdulaziz Ali Al Naama, and the Ambassador of Algeria to Qatar H E Mustafa Boutoura.
