DOHA: H E Saad Sherida Al Kaabi, the Minister of State for Energy Affairs, held talks in Seoul yesterday with Sung Yun-Mo, the Minister of Trade, Industry and Energy of the Republic of Korea.
Discussions during the meeting dealt with bilateral relations and enhancing cooperation between Qatar and Korea in the energy field.
Minister Al-Kaabi concluded his one-day visit to Seoul with a number of meetings with senior executives of major Korean companies, which focused on enhancing relations and cooperation in the field of energy, particularly in the LNG industry.
The discussions included separate meetings with Chae Hee-Bong, the President & CEO of KOGAS, Sam H. Ka, the President & CEO of Hyundai Heavy Industries, Lee Seug Geun, the President & CEO of Daewoo Shipbuilding & Marine Engineering, and Nam J. O., the President & CEO of Samsung Heavy Industries.
