DOHA: Al Ahli coach Milan Macala is hopeful of a good show from his side which prepares to take on Al Arabi in their Round 9 game at the QNB Stars League (QSL) tomorrow.
Macala said his team had a good preparations for the match.
“Our preparations went off well and we are ready to face Al Arabi. The team trained yesterday with all players except injured striker Mohammed Muntari,” the coach said during a pre-match press conference yesterday.
“The QSL Cup match played during the international break was of great benefit to us. We took full advantage of the opportunity to test some youngsters,” he added.
Al Ahli are 8th with 9 points and a victory can help them come even to Al Arabi who are placed 6th with 12 points.
“We are well aware of the fact that the match against Al Arabi will be difficult and we hope to achieve a positive result.
“We have analysed their previous game and we are working out ways on how best to deal with them,” said Macala.
