Ideal Indian School observed the World Food Day to commemorate the foundation of Food and Agricultural Organization (FAO) of the United Nations recently. Various activities were organised in the Kindergarten section under the theme “Share food Save life”. A pictorial display based on “Famine-Hunger” and “Prosperity-Wastage” was organised which depicts the contradiction of lack of basic necessities and wastage of food in various countries. The kids were told about the importance of having nutrient food and balanced diet and they were asked to avoid the habit of eating fast and junk food. Children were dressed in their traditional costume according to the nationality (pictured).
