DOHA: As part of its commitment to support local businesses in the country, Vodafone Qatar surprised coffee lovers at the Kaffeinated 2.0 coffee festival with their Vodafone café showcase powered by Empire Coffee, a well-known Qatari café, owned by two brothers, Ibrahim and Essa and Al Khulaifi. All proceeds generated from coffee sales at the Vodafone café will go towards supporting Qatar Red Crescent’s charitable work.
Now in its second edition, the festival takes place till the April 21 at Katara Hall from 10am to 10pm.
Vodafone Qatar is also sponsoring the festival’s Latte Art competition between local baristas on the 20th of April to further encourage the booming coffee culture in Qatar.
The coffee festival started as an idea from a single coffee lover who wanted to bring together a community of other coffee lovers.
Other festival highlights include workshops that enable the community to gain a better understanding of the coffee business in Qatar and advance their coffee knowledge. Visitors will be able to taste different kinds of coffee brews, attempt making a coffee and enjoy this unique experience with family and friends.
