DOHA: Qatar Islamic Bank (QIB) has added new features to its innovative QIB Mobile App to bring further convenience and personalized experience to its customers. These new features have been added in response to increased customers’ demand for QIB to help them manage their money instantly.
A major functionality that the new update offers, is the option of opening an additionalBank Account within few taps on the screen. This feature eliminates the need for customers to visit a branch or call a bank representative, and leaves them with a more convenient banking experience.
Any QIB customer can now open a saving or Misk Account,through the App, and start enjoying its associated benefits instantly such as earning profit rate on the savings and enter the draw to win QR10,000 weekly and the QR1m annual grand prize the Misk account offers. Customers can also open additional accountsin different currencies such as Euro, Dollar, or Pound.
The new App update also allows customers to set up standing orders in few minutes through their mobile devices. The updated App will allow customers to make recurring fund transfers to family and friends, pay installments or save, in seconds.Customers can now take care of their transfers in a very efficient manner through QIB’s Mobile App.

During this year, QIB has introduced many new features to help customers manage their finances quickly and easily. Viewing their overall net-worth, creating and managing beneficiaries for local and international transfers, activating magnetic stripe for debit and credit cards to ease the use of cards internationally, booking a visit to branch and logging into the app through face ID or fingerprint were introduced to meet the customers’ financial needs in a fast, efficient and most importantly secured way.
