Doha, Qatar: Qatar National Day is a proud celebration of Qatar’s unity, heritage, and national identity, as well as the enduring values of resilience, progress, and collective purpose that continue to guide the country’s development, said Ambassador of Sierra Leone H E Ahmed Tejan Fadlu-Deen.
In his message on the occasion of the celebration, the Ambassador said, “On behalf of the Government and people of the Republic of Sierra Leone, I extend warm congratulations to His Highness the Amir Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani, the Government, and the people of the State of Qatar on the occasion of Qatar National Day.”
He added that over the years, Qatar has demonstrated how strategic vision, sound governance, and investment in people can transform a country’s standing in the world.
“Sierra Leone recognises and commends Qatar’s remarkable achievements across multiple key sectors including economic advancement, world-class infrastructure, human development, and global engagement. Qatar’s leadership and commitment to constructive international cooperation remain widely respected,” he said.
The Ambassador noted that Sierra Leone also welcomes the steady growth in bilateral relations with Qatar, founded on mutual respect and shared aspirations.
“We look forward to deepening cooperation in trade and investment, education and skills development, energy, agriculture, and other priority areas that deliver tangible benefits for our peoples,” Ambassador Fadlu-Deen added.
He noted that as Qatar celebrates this important day, Sierra Leone stands with you in friendship and admiration.
“We share in your pride, and we express our best wishes for continued peace, prosperity, and progress for the State of Qatar and its people. Kull ʿāmwaantumbikhayr—may each year bring Qatar even greater success. I convey best wishes for continued peace, prosperity, and progress to the State of Qatar and its people,” he said.
