Qatar have won a total of 11 medals at the Arab Table Tennis Championship so far.
DOHA: Qatar’s table tennis team continued its impressive run at the Arab Table Tennis Championship in Casablanca, Morocco, winning six new medals in the doubles competitions.
The team added two gold and four silver medals, bringing their overall tally in the tournament to 11 medals so far, with the singles events still to come.
In the under-11 category, Rabia Al-Kuwari and Mubarak Al-Mansouri clinched gold after defeating the Saudi pair 3-0. The duo had earlier won gold in the team event, showing strong potential for the future.
Another gold came from the under-17 category, where Sultan Al-Kuwari and Ahmed Eid beat the Emirati team 3-1 in the final.
Qatar also secured four silver medals in the men’s, women’s, youth, and mixed doubles finals.
The championship concludes today with the singles finals, where Qatar hopes to add even more medals to its tally.
