Given the noticeable increase in cyber fraud attempts through phone calls and social media messages, Qatar Central Bank (QCB) has urged users to be cautious.
On its Twitter account, QCB stated that "Qatar Central Bank warns against cyber fraud, given the noticeable increase in cyber fraud attempts through phone calls and messages via social media platforms by unknown sources claiming to represent official authorities in the country."
QCB also emphasized the importance of not sharing private and banking data with any unknown sources.
