The prevailing north westerly winds are expected to get stronger over the coming days, according to the Meteorology Department. The wind speed is expected to range between 15 to 25/30 knots today, with wave height between 6 to 8 Feet. With the stronger winds picking up dust, the visibility is expected to drop to 2km or less in some areas.
However, the weather charts show stronger north-westerly windy conditions over all areas on Thursday and Friday. The winds are expected to range between 20 to 30/38 knots and wave height between 8 to 10 feet reaching 13 ft in some areas.
Meanwhile, the northern winds have brought down the temperature back to the average for the month. Today the weather would be hot during day with slight blowing dust at places with some clouds. Doha is expected to have temperatures ranging between 37 to 27 degrees Celsius.
