DOHA: The Seasonal Honey Market-2018 is attracting large number of participants, as a total of 84 companies from 20 GCC, Arab and non-Arab countries have registered so far to participate in the event. The market is slated to be held from March 21 to 27 at Souq Waqif.
General Supervisor of Seasonal Honey Market-2018, Khalid Saif Al Suwaidi, said that the large number of participating companies, whether local or foreign, confirms the great confidence that these companies attach to the promising Qatari market.
He pointed out that all facilities have been offered for companies from outside Qatar to come to Doha and participate in the event. Of the total participants, around 40 percent of the companies are Qatari, and Oman comes second in terms of participating companies.
Many participants from Asian countries such as India, Afghanistan and Pakistan, and other countries such as Turkey, Spain, Kenya and many Arab countries will attend the event.
Seasonal Honey Market 2018 offers a unique opportunity by providing a place for traders, entrepreneurs and small and medium-sized companies to showcase their honey and related products to the public, which will have a positive impact on them.
It is an initiative to invite companies and companies specialised in the “production, supply and distribution of honey” to participate in the market and provide an opportunity to introduce the local product of honey, and open the way for foreign companies to display their products.
The market aims at giving companies the opportunity to enter into agreements and partnerships, and to promote mutual trade growth in the field of the supply of honey, while enabling local investors in this field to market their products to foreign markets and to identify the potential and expertise of participating countries in the exhibition to benefit from the entrepreneurs and investors in the State.
Seasonal Honey Market 2018 is expected to be very well received thanks to its location in Souq Waqif.
