Doha: Chief of Staff of Qatar Armed Forces H E Lieutenant-General (Pilot) Salem bin Hamad bin Aqeel Al Nabit met with French Chief of Staff General H E Thierry Burkhard, during his visit to the French Republic.
They reviewed military cooperation between the two sides. The meeting also saw the signing of the minutes of the meeting of the Qatari-French joint higher committee at its 24th session.
It agreed on many joint activities and exercises as well as the exchange of experiences that will contribute to enhancing cooperation between the two friendly countries.
The meeting of the Qatari-French joint higher committee is held annually alternately between the two countries. It was attended by a number of senior officers of the Qatar Armed Forces.
