H E Bandar bin Muhammed Al Attiyah, Ambassador of Qatar to Kuwait
DOHA: As many as 220 Qatari manufacturing companies will be displaying their products in front of the Kuwaiti business community at the “Made in Qatar” exhibition which kicks off on Wednesday February 19 at the Kuwait International Fair.
The four-day expo, held under the patronage of Kuwait Prime Minister H H Sheikh Sabah Khalid Al Hamad Al Sabah, aims to enhance cooperation relations between both countries’ business sectors and activate mutual investments.
The exhibition is organised by the Qatar Chamber in coordination with the Kuwait Chamber of Commerce and Industry at Hall No. 4 at the Kuwait International Fair.
In a press statement, Qatari Ambassador to Kuwait, H E Bandar bin Mohammed Al Attiyah, said that holding “Made in Qatar” in Kuwait assures the strong relations between the two brotherly countries, noting that their relations had significantly developed over thanks to the care and wisdom of the Leaders of both States; H H Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani, Amir of Qatar, and H H Sheikh Sabah Al Ahmad Al Jaber Al Sabah, Amir of Kuwait and their continuous desire to enhance and support the brotherly relations between both States.
Al Attiyah also noted that the large participation of Qatari business sectors in the exhibition and the business forum demonstrates the sincere interest of Qatari businessmen and firms to enter the Kuwaiti market and forge commercial ties that help in enhancing both countries’ economies.
He hoped that the expo would be a great success and help in establishing joint ventures for the benefit of developing both countries’ trade and economic cooperation.
