DOHA: Qatari female entrepreneur Hissa Haddad was selected by the British Fashion Council to showcase her name brand Hissa Haddad of luxury shoes in London Fashion Week 2018. Hissa, the 29-year-old engineer turned shoe designer, is the only Arab footwear designer showcased in this year’s London Fashion Week - Designer Showroom, which started on February 16.
Inspired by historical Islamic architecture and Arabian culture, Hissa hand creates timeless, elegant pieces without compromising on comfort. In London Hissa Haddad is launching Capsule II the second collection of wearable art, ranging in nine new shoe designs in a variety of styles from pumps, mules and slip-ons in a variety of feminine colours.
Capsule Collection II follows her Capsule Collection that was successfully debuted at Paris Fashion Week 2017. The brands Capsule Collection II encapsulates Arabian heritage and the pearl trade, these influences are reflected in the beauty in each and every handcrafted piece. Tradition is at the heart of the collection adding timeless value without compromising on elegance, sophistication and comfort.
The collection has been seen on high profile influencers such as @eastsleepbefancy and @ascia Kuwaiti blogger Ascia during Milan Fashion Week.
Each piece of this collection is handmade with a wider fit and added insole creating a highly comfortable shoe. The range has an emphasis on pastels with lilac, champagne and rose satin all available. The statement colour in the collection of sapphire blue is available for an elegant yet vibrant touch. The shoes are completed with a special inscription from the designer herself, “Handcrafted in Italy for a unique lady”.
