Doha, Qatar: The Ministry of Interior has emphasized the importance of ensuring that all celebrations reflect the authentic values of Qatari society and present a civilized image of the State of Qatar, on the occasion of the National Day of the State.
The event embodies the values of loyalty and national belonging while safeguarding the safety of all.
The Ministry calls upon citizens and residents to express their national pride and joy in a responsible manner that reflects awareness and social responsibility, through adherence to public order and decorum in all celebration areas, in accordance with the applicable laws and regulations.
The Ministry further urges the public to refrain from practices that may pose risks to public safety, cause inconvenience to others, or violate personal privacy.
Such practices include the use of spray cans of any kind or substances that obstruct visibility, random stopping or obstructive gatherings that impede traffic flow, exiting or sitting on vehicles while in motion, or any behaviour that disrupts public order and endangers public safety.
The Ministry appreciates the cooperation of all segments of society and their continued commitment to ensuring the success of this national occasion.
At the same time, it confirms that it will continue its efforts to regulate traffic, secure celebration sites, and take all necessary legal measures against any violations, addressing any improper behaviour firmly and in accordance with the law, in order to ensure the safety of all and the smooth conduct of celebrations in a safe and organized environment.
