The Legal and Legislative Affairs, and Financial and Economic Affairs Committees of the Shura Council, held a meeting yesterday, in the presence of Deputy Speaker of the Council H E Dr. Hamda bint Hassan Al Sulaiti and Chairman of the Joint Committee H E Abdul Rahman bin Yousuf Al Khulaifi.
During the meeting, the committee continued to discuss the two draft laws “Social Security and Military Retirement”, where the deliberations focused on extensive discussions of the articles of the two drafts, and clarification of all aspects included in them.
The joint committee is working on studying the two aforementioned draft laws in a manner that ensures that the aspirations and aspirations of Qatari society are met when they are issued, in order to ensure a decent life for citizens.
At the end of the meeting, the committee affirmed that it would continue to study the two projects by holding intensive and continuous meetings, with a view to completing them as soon as possible.
