TNG students shine with Top in the World and Top in Qatar titles in Cambridge exams

Doha, Qatar: The Next Generation (TNG) School is celebrating an extraordinary milestone as its students earned Top in the World and Top in Qatar distinctions in the June 2025 Cambridge International Examinations  a true testament to their hard work, curiosity, and academic excellence.

The achievers who brought this honour to TNG are: Areeba Naeem Top in the World  Islamiyat (IGCSE). Hasaan Junaid Kasmani High Achievement  Physics (A Level).

Nour Khalid Mohammed Saeed Top in Qatar Information & Communication Technology (IGCSE). Sarah Ahmad Top in Qatar Mathematics (Without Coursework) (IGCSE). 

Soraiya Omer  Top in Qatar First Language English (Oral Endorsement). Soraiya Omer  Top in Qatar Mathematics (Without Coursework) (IGCSE).

Zaina Adnan Top in Qatar Global Perspectives (IGCSE). 

Ali Salman Top in Qatar Enterprise (IGCSE).

These exceptional results reflect TNG’s mission to nurture holistic learners who combine intellectual depth with important soft skills. 

Leading the way, Areeba Naeem became the second TNG student ever to achieve Top in the World in Islamiyat, exemplifying the school’s focus on critical thinking rooted in Islamic values. 

Soraiya Omer’s rare double distinction topping Qatar in both Mathematics and English highlights TNG’s emphasis on multidisciplinary excellence and balanced learning.

What makes these achievers stand out even more is their excellence beyond the classroom. Sarah Ahmad and Soraiya Omer were part of the team that became Global Winners in the 2024 Your World Competition by the British Council. 

Zaina Adnan and Nour Khalid have made their mark in debates and Model United Nations. While Areeba Naeem led her campus newsletter as Editor-in-Chief and showcased her athletic talent in cricket. Hasaan Junaid Kasmani earned recognition in National Scientific Research and STEM Olympiads, while Ali Salman distinguished himself through his passion for sports and his reflective, resilient nature.

Behind these remarkable results stand TNG’s dedicated educators Riffat Ishfaq, Mian Ahsan Ali, Suatha Sijal, Khadija Abid, Rahila Mahaboob, Nadiya Nissar, Helen Rose, Muqtada Ibrahim, and Mary Prisca whose unwavering support and guidance helped students turn potential into performance.

A special mention goes to Riffat Ishfaq, whose students have achieved Top in Qatar four times and Top in the World twice in IGCSE Islamiyat in past ten years.
