Qatar Investment Fund (QIF) in collaboration with United Nation (UN), organised a workshop to strengthen health sector in Syria, on Monday and Tuesday. The workshop was aimed to strengthen the local health sector by joining them with related International Organisations (UN), and to execute programmes for Health Sector in Syria and neighbouring countries which hosted Syrian refugees.
Participated by many Qatari organizations like, Qatar Red Crescent (QRC), Qatar Charity (QC), Education Above All (EAA), and International Institutes, like United Nations Office for the Coordination of Humanitarian Affairs (UCHA), UN Refugee Agency (UNHCR), United Nations Development Program (UNDP), World Health Organization (WHO), and (UNICEF). Musfar Al Shahwani, Executive-Manager of Projects Improvement Administration stressed on the way how the State of Qatar positivity efforts in crises and human disasters, and how it supported participation with international organisations.
