Doha: Municipality officials seized over 200 kilograms of meat, which were unfit for human consumption, from street vendors.
Al Rayyan Municipality (Al Sailiya Central Market), in coordination with the Security Authorities Management of Research and Follow-Up, seized meat, weighing 270 kg, unfit for human consumption in the possession of street vendors, stated the Ministry on its social media.
It added that while the seized meat was destroyed, necessary legal measures were taken and a seizure report was issued for the violators.
